Medical acupuncture is similar to Chinese acupuncture, but relies more on anatomy, physiology and neurology to determine sites and origins of pain. As such, it combines the benefits of traditional Chinese acupuncture with modern medical knowledge and scientific research.

I have been providing medical acupuncture for over 30 years. As a practising GP, I pride myself on using my knowledge in combination with acupuncture, as part of an holistic (whole person) approach to healing.

I can offer traditional medical advice as well, including the usual medical treatments and prescriptions, should these be necessary.

I have a number of special interests and additional qualifications: I am a full member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society and have the Diploma of Acupuncture.
